The Neon Edition translates 22STUDIO's most iconic cement color scheme onto a mechanical watch. The high-density clear glass dial in shades of gray, combined with colorful geometric patterns, evokes an imaginary scene from an animation world — light and vibrant, yet still retaining the calm texture of cement.
The sandblasted stainless steel case is paired with matte gray hands and C3 green Super-LumiNova® luminous material, creating different levels of luster in both daylight and darkness; the gray embossed leather strap tightens the overall look, making the vibrant colors appear more sophisticated.

Bito (Beetle Creative) is a leading integrated design firm headquartered in Taipei, renowned as a pioneer in Asian motion design, and has won numerous accolades including the New York ADC , D &AD , and German iF Design Awards. In recent years, they have served as the visual coordinator for the Golden Horse Awards and Golden Melody Awards. Their work also includes the Taipei Universiade advertising campaign and the sports department's visuals. We are incredibly excited to share our collaborative Year of the Horse commemorative watch with you all.
This collaboration with 22STUDIO to create a unique limited-edition clear metal watch for the Year of the Horse is a fascinating story, and we'd love to hear about the inspiration behind it.
Time-traveling horses gallop endlessly back and forth.
Bito's Creative Director, Liu Gengming, was deeply impressed upon first seeing the dial design of the 22STUDIO 4D Space 10th Anniversary Collection. The three staircases, symbolizing "past, present, and future," cut through the space with their intersecting structure, as if stepping into a magical corridor without end.
The design of the Horse Calendar pays homage to this technique. Through the interlocking and stacking of "stepped structures," the form of the horse is transformed into geometric language. The lines and facets are clean and the rhythm is brisk, as if a golden horse from the future is galloping through the grid lines of time. The concentric circles with varying cross-sections are like the traces left after time has been divided; they are also the twisting body, the leaping legs, and the strong, flying mane when galloping.
The origin of inspiration: the first horse in kinetic
Since Bito is a top team in Motion Design , the concept behind their 22STUDIO miniature clear sculpted horse commemorative watch comes from the first horse in history, which is the subject of "continuous imagery" and "dynamic display" .
In 1878 , British photographer Muybridge used multiple cameras to take a series of photographs of horses in motion , a technique known as chronophotography . This represents dividing time into a series of still images, a concept that later became the basic logic of cinematography .
The date chart " 26 " is a secret code for inspiration.
We specially changed the date " 26th " on the date chart to a small orange pencil. The pencil is the tool that most people are most familiar with and closest to the starting point of creation — from childhood doodles to adult notes and sketches, it is always the first tool to receive the arrival of inspiration.
For Bito , the pencil leaves behind the purest and most authentic traces of creativity. Therefore, in the 2026 commemorative edition, we imbued the pencil with the symbolic meaning of "inspiration" and replaced the " 26 " on the date dial with a pencil symbol, making it a unique hidden mark on this watch.
The Radiant Orange Instantly Transforms into a Horn: A Unicorn Easter Egg
We consistently use Super-LumiNova® luminescent coating from the renowned Swiss manufacturer LumiNova AG Switzerland , whose excellent chemical stability and long-lasting luminescence ensure clear readability even in dim environments.
In the 2026 Year of the Horse limited edition , we specially selected a color similar to the Bito brand's vocabulary — Light Orange , which glows faintly in the dark. At the same time, we have hidden a little Easter egg that only the observant will notice: when the second hand passes the horse's head on the dial, the lines overlap perfectly, as if the golden horse has grown a fluorescent horn at that moment — transforming into a unicorn in just one second.
In the relentless march of time, inspiration strikes unexpectedly, sometimes suddenly.

Incorporating sustainable materials, exclusive handmade clear stencil dial
The exposed concrete molding technique represents the pinnacle of cement craftsmanship. To present a delicate and captivating original texture, it absolutely relies on meticulous molds and precise construction. All 22STUDIO exposed concrete dials are handmade at the headquarters on Dihua Street in Taipei, using an exclusive formula cement with added sustainable recycled aggregates, which can quickly set and form, with low shrinkage and high strength.
The most complex case in history: six interlocking cement sheets
The 0.15mm tolerance, coupled with the fact that various color formulations can result in different shrinkage rates and strengths in the cement, and the need to precisely bond each piece together before attaching magnifying lenses and luminous markers, presents another high-difficulty challenge for the team. Years of practical experience have instilled in 22STUDIO the spirit of "creating new products is about self-challenge," a core value of our exposed concrete workshop. There's not much to say; we're always ready to fight again and again.
Slim and redesigned version of the Japanese Miyota 9015 high-end automatic mechanical movement
In pursuit of a thinner and lighter overall design, we used the high-end 9015 movement from the Japanese Starry Sky movement, which is 0.7mm thinner than the movement we used before ( from 4.6mm to 3.9mm ). This movement has received excellent market reviews, with stable and accurate timekeeping and a power reserve of about 42 hours. This time, we also customized a 22STUDIO exclusive automatic rotor to further enhance the overall quality of the movement.
Box-shaped Sapphire Crystal with double convex lid
All 22STUDIO watches feature sapphire crystal, second only to diamond in hardness, making them virtually scratch-resistant and ensuring they remain as good as new for years to come. This time, a double-convex dome design was specially chosen. The internal space created allows for a thinner case, and the refraction and reflections produced by its shape add many variations to the watch from different angles, significantly changing its overall feel and making it irresistible.
Super luminous hands and 3D hour markers
All 22STUDIO products use Super -LumiNova® luminescent paint from the Swiss manufacturer LumiNova AG Switzerland. This paint boasts excellent chemical stability and high brightness , allowing for quick and clear reading of the time in any dimly lit environment .
The three-dimensional hour markers are CNC machined from metal and filled with super-luminescent material. These tiny markers, measuring only 3.9x1x0.8mm , must be precisely set onto the clear glass dial, demanding exceptional precision and alignment skills. Crown shoulder guard design
The crown guard design features a CNC- machined groove around the original crown to lock in the crown guard, creating a protective barrier. This reduces the impact of initial impacts, extending the watch's lifespan and allowing for worry-free wear during vigorous activities. The meticulous craftsmanship also enhances the overall design with a sporty spirit and mechanical aesthetic.
Well-shaped date window with magnifying lens
Another original design from 22STUDIO . We utilized the extra interior space on the surface of the spiral staircase to design a well-shaped date window on the exposed concrete dial. We then moved the date magnifying glass, which is usually glued to the surface glass, and installed it on the upper edge of the well to clearly display the date, creating a rich and interesting effect.
Leather watch strap curvature retainer
Each 22STUDIO watch comes with a leather strap equipped with a special "strap curvature retainer" that secures the strap to the watch body in a perfect oval shape, greatly enhancing the wearing experience and making it more balanced and comfortable.
